Book Reviews: "What's Yours to Keep"
Author Inger Johanne Øen

NEW Crime Thriller Set in Ringerike, Norway
The body of a woman is found in a barrel on a disused farm. It quickly turns out to be Ann. The investigation stirs unrest in the village, and old secrets resurface. For Silja, it becomes personal—so personal that several people want her off the case.
A Small Excerpt
"Silja swims upwards, seeking the sunlight playing on the water's surface. She kicks with all her might several times, but gets no closer. The darkness below frightens her, as if something is down there. Something that could grab her ankles at any moment and drag her back to the depths".

Published in Swedish in 2025
"What's Your to Keep" was acquired by Modernista Forlag in Sweden in 2024 and then published in May 2025.
This marks an exciting milestone for the book, as it now has the opportunity to reach a new audience in our neighboring country.
The edition has been beautifully translated by the talented team of Elisabet Setterborg and Gabriel Setterborg, who have done a fantastic job of preserving the book's soul and message in Swedish.
The book was titled "Den sista vilan" – a title I really like!
